Molecular Devices officially opens new headquarters in Silicon Valley
Molecular Devices LLC, has officially opened its new global headquarters in San Jose, California from its previous location in Sunnyvale. At full capacity, the company will employ more than 500 scientists in the new Silicon Valley facility focused on developing and commercializing breakthrough innovations that enable life science researchers worldwide to accelerate protein and cell biology-based drug discovery and development.
“We are looking forward to our new campus being an epicenter of innovation and a place to foster relationships among our associates and the greater scientific community,” said Greg Milosevich, President of Molecular Devices. “Our new global headquarters is designed to engage and leverage the talent, technology, diversity, and work ethic of Silicon Valley professionals, while also giving back to the community through current and future investments in our new campus.”
Energy Efficient Space Designed for Growth
The new headquarters was designed and constructed from the ground up over the last two years providing:
- World class customer training and demonstration laboratory with full protein and cell biology workflow equipment
- Energy conscious design with low energy consumption lighting and solar power expansion capacity
- Transparent and ergonomically designed office spaces, meetings rooms, and associate work environments to foster creativity, team work, and engagement
